Hi, I’m Ashleigh, the baker and artist behind Bat City Bakes.

My journey began in the heart of a loving home in Fort Worth, where my mother ran a successful cake business. Growing up, I was always by her side, watching her transform simple ingredients into edible works of art, learning the craft one piped rosette and one steady hand at a time.

Those years at her side taught me more than technique. They taught me that a cake is never just a cake. It’s the centerpiece of someone’s best day, a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary, a quiet “I’m proud of you.” It’s the thing people gather around, photograph, and remember.

Now, in the vibrant city of Austin, I’m proud to carry on her legacy with Bat City Bakes. Every cake that leaves my kitchen is made from scratch and designed around the person it’s celebrating, bringing a touch of magic to every celebration, just like she taught me.
